Workshops & Creative Retreats
"In this twentieth century, to stop rushing around, to sit quietly on the grass, to switch off the world and come back to the earth, to allow the eye to see a willow, a bush, a cloud, a leaf, is an unforgettable experience...” Frederick Franck. The Zen of Seeing
Monica Fogg often references finding one’s “still place” … when the clutter of external demands and judgement quiets and the creative process is more fluid. Immersive periods of exploration can be transformative. She fosters this in the work of others.
Monica is drawn to the interaction and shared learning experience. She challenges those who have much aesthetic experience toward evolution of a personal voice or vision. For those with little experience, she guides past their messages of fear and limitation.
Recently, she has responded to requests and is developing Creative Retreats that allow one to explore in an immersive setting. The hope is that these workshops will provide an impetus that continues to develop long after the experience is over.
Currently, four types of workshops are offered –
three-day sailing and painting adventures and
one-week immersive experience.
