Arrival

Plan a flight (to Cancun airport) that will be on the ground between noon and 2:30pm, Saturday. We will provide van transportation from airport to ferry at 3:00. That may vary a tad, depending on flights. But the PLAN is that all would be on the ground, luggage claimed, so we can depart by 3.

Finding us
The airport in Cancun is fairly simple. Once you are through customs, your only option is to walk through a hallway of vendors to the outdoors.  Once you are outdoors, turn left and go a short distance to the patio cafe. Have a seat and relax.  We will gather and look for you there!

Departure

We plan to leave the hotel (go to ferry, then to airport) by 8:30am Saturday. Noon or after flights would be best for the return flight.

Fares
There are several non-stop options. Sun Country and Southwest don’t always show up on searches (Expedia, Kayak, etc.) In all cases, when comparing airfares, be sure to consider fees for checked luggage.
While I coerce my University students to do carry-on only, for THIS trip, I plan to check a bag. It will hold my easel, stool, paper, art supplies that can’t be carried on ( liquids, etc.) If I DO take tubes, I MAY try to carry them, so there isn’t an air pressure issue.
