Monica Fogg often references finding one’s “still place” … when the clutter of external demands and judgement quiets and the creative process is more fluid. Immersive periods of exploration can be transformative. She fosters this in the work of others.
Monica is drawn to the interaction and shared learning experience. She challenges those who have much aesthetic experience toward evolution of a personal voice or vision. For those with little experience, she guides past their messages of fear and limitation.
Classes + Destination Learning
"Creativity is about setting up the eureka moment."

Monica teaches short classes, ranging from 3 hours to series of 2-6 three-hour sessions. Currently, many of these meet remotely. Some meet in person.
Aiming to further "set up the eureka moment", Monica has developed Destination Learning Opportunities, longer workshops. These creative retreats allow one to explore in an inspiring setting. This might be an immersive experience on a unique island in Mexico, a cultural exploration of color and light in Greece, a coastal experience in North Carolina, etc.
The hope is that these Destination Learning experiences will provide an impetus that continues to develop long after the event is over.
