Transform your drawings using both drawing strokes AND brush strokes!
Add options to your drawing repertoire in this three-hour workshop. We will explore use of water-soluble drawing materials, using 3 basic tools: water-soluble graphite pencil, water-soluble chunk graphite, and a water-soluble carbon disk… plus a brush and water. We will explore how achromatic (without color) drawings can be transformed with the addition of a few simple brush strokes, bringing a painterly aspect to a drawn piece. There will be demonstrations, as well as time to practice and explore within a group environment. Bring: open mind, a sense of adventure, supplies. (Supply list available through Wet Paint.) Prerequisites: NONE. This workshop is very appropriate for first time creators as well as those with previous experience. Each will benefit from individual attention and guidance. |
